Falling Creek is the perfect park for the whole family to get outside and get some exercise. 

Located just southeast of downtown Bedford, Falling Creek Park features, mountain biking/hiking trails, large skatepark, walking trail with fitness stations, picnic shelter, playground, and restrooms. The network of trails offering fantastic mountain biking and hiking. There are ten miles of trails ranging from easy to advanced. From easy pedaling through the Rock Garden to the thrilling ride on the Downhill trail, there is something for all riders. The town host numerous biking events throughout the year for locals and visitors such as the Fat Tire Weekend. The park also features a Bike Park with a skills loop, pump track, and ways to practice your jumps. Hikers on the lookout for bikers and bikers make sure you are alerting hikers when you are approaching. 

Along with the trails there is a 18-hold disc golf course that goes in and out of the woods. This is a great course for both beginners learning the sport and advanced players working on their skills. The course is laid out perfectly and well maintained. There are two baskets for each hole, red and yellow. 

The playground is along the looped walking path that has fitness stations. The playground features a large play structure with slides, tunnel, climbing wall, steps, and interactive play stations, bouncing ride-on toys, and a swing set. The playground area is filled in with mulch and a covered picnic shelter is close by. The paved walking path goes in a loop near the parking lot. There are several fitness stations to workout on. The path is perfect for young bike riders, scooters or pushing a stroller. 

At the entrance of the park is the a large skate park. This skate park is large with various dips, rails, bowls, stairs, and more. This is a popular spot for locals. The skate park has a good combination of beginner obstacles and novice obstacles. Everyone was friendly, helpful, and respectful when taking turns on the pathways. Skateboard, scooters, and inline skates can be used but no bikes are allowed. There is a picnic shelter and restrooms nearby and a water fountain.
