Farms View is a local farm with fun seasonal activities and animals for families to enjoy.

Farms View is great to visit every season! Upon arriving to the farm, there’s a small parking lot at street level, and a larger lot down a small hill to the farm area. The farm animals are really popular with the kids, however there is no petting or feeding allowed. Animals include chickens, goats, pigs, donkeys, and sheep.

The main farm market offers fresh non-GMO fruits and vegetables, various plants, gardening supplies, specialty food items like pies, apple cider donuts, pickles, dressing, and more! In late May u-pick strawberry season starts and runs approximately through mid-June. In the fall, kids can enjoy a hayride to the pumpkin patch and select a the perfect pumpkin to bring home. And, in winter, the farm has hundreds of Christmas trees on display to purchase for your home as well as wreaths and other decorations.

The produce in the farm market is reasonably priced and picked daily during the growing season from May – November. During the summer peak, there are over 65 varieties of fresh vegetables and fruit! There’s also special events throughout the year like a visit from the Easter Bunny which you can find listed on the website. The website also offers recipes if you’re wondering what to do with some of the produce you purchased. There are portable toilets available with hand washing stations.

If you’re looking for something else to do after visiting the farm, Wayne Friends & Family Park is less than a quarter-mile south or Laurelwood Arboretum is about 2.3 miles north.
