A nice park to get outside and play when your adventuring in uptown.
Located on the outer rim of uptown Charlotte, Frazier Park has a playground, dog park, basketball courts, tennis courts, and runs along Irwin Creek. The small playground features monkey bars, slides, climbing areas, and musical fun. There is a swing set with two baby swings and two regular swings.
A small area near the park hosts a beautiful memorial park. The Our Children’s Memorial Walkway was established in a central city area to allow families of all ages, denominations, cultures, and races from across the area to gather together. The memorial walkway is made up of engraved bricks for loved ones to honor the memory of their children. The garden houses cherry trees for shade, benches, sculptures of children at play, and inscribed monuments.
The Irwin Creek and Stewart Creek Greenways run by this park. This segment of the trail is 1.4 miles comprised of both gravel and paved surfaces. You can see various wildlife along the creek such as herons, ducks, and other waterfowl. This segment of the trail takes you by several places such as Ray’s Splash Planet, Wesley Heights, and Phillip O. Berry Recreation Center. This greenway would be perfect for some exercise and heading into uptown for some fun. Bring your bikes for a family bike ride
Live near uptown and don't have space for a garden? The Frazier Community Garden has plots for rent. The garden plots are 10 by 15 feet, and water is available on site. For more information on renting, please call 704-336-4008.
This is a perfect park for a quick stop along the greenway or in between events in uptown.
