Fremont Park is a lovely little neighborhood park with a playground.

Fremont Park is a cute little neighborhood park that is sure to charm families - particularly those with young kids. Easy to get to, this park is just off 494 (east and westbound), as well as 35W (north and southbound). Located near 494 and Lyndale, Fremont Park is also a great place to enjoy a picnic and play. If you're grabbing lunch on the way, nearby lunch places include family-friendly options like Potbelly, Starbucks, Noodles & Co., and Chipotle (among others). Additionally, if you are running errands near the Mall of America, in Bloomington, or in Richfield, this park offers a quiet reprieve for kids who need to get out and play!

While on the small side, this playground still offers everything young kids need to play and have fun. Kids will love racing down slides, flying across the monkey bars, and going up and down the climbing structure. Afterward, they can spend time swinging as high as they can in the two swings (one for big kids and one for infants). There is also a basketball hoop near the playground. Great for older kids accompanying younger siblings - or for a family round of H-O-R-S-E. Plus, there is ample space to run around. If you plan to spend a lot of time playing, be sure to bring a ball or frisbee for the grassy area. 

Nestled in a quiet neighborhood in Richfield, Fremont Park is also a great starting point or endpoint to a lovely walk amongst mature trees and darling homes. Stay tuned, because this park will be getting updated in the coming months!
