Happy Valley Park is the best park in town!

This park has us coming back again and again. It has 24 acres of wetlands with a boardwalk trail. Many families like walking, biking, and pushing a stroller in this area. We have found bunnies, a variety of birds, and ducks. However, the boardwalks can be slippery when they are wet.

There's a wonderful splash pad that has multiple sprays and showers. It's open Memorial Day weekend until Labor Day weekend. There's a covered area with multiple bathrooms close by. It can get hectic during the summertime.

When we came in the summer, an ice cream truck had stopped by. It was a wonderful treat on a hot day.

Happy Valley Park has many activities for the kids. They have three playgrounds, including an all-abilities park. They have swings, teeter-totters, merry-go-round, and slides. Many athletic fields can be found including baseball and soccer, tennis and basketball courts, and sand volleyball. There's a skate park and three off-leashed gated dog parks, including poop bags. They have picnic tables throughout the park. There are four covered areas to rent, including the gazebo starting February 15 of each year.

There are multiple spots to find if you are into geocaching or pokemon.
Tip: There are not many food places nearby, so bring snacks, lunch, and water bottles. There are four parking lots which are nice depending on what you want to do; one close to the splash pad and another close to the playground.
