Hillendale Park is a 16-acre park with multiple playgrounds, ducks, and sports fields.

It's fun for the whole family. There are two parking lots, but the main parking lot on Roseberry Avenue is easier to get to. Once you park, you can see a playground to the right and softball fields to the left. There's a long paved trail that surrounds the park. This is great for walking and riding scooters and bikes.

The playground has two play structures. The smaller one is suitable for ages two to five. It has a couple of slides, a wheel, and a tunnel. The bigger play structure is ideal for 5- to 11-year-olds. This has multiple slides, a bridge, and metal ziplines. There's a covered shelter, bathrooms, and sand volleyball close by. The large grassy area is used for soccer and is great for lawn games or playing tag.

Two small bridges cross over a creek to get to the other side of the park. Here you will find another playground, tennis courts, parking lot, bathroom, and more baseball fields. The playground has baby swings, big kid swings, and a tire swing. Again, there are multiple slides, monkey bars, and a bridge. There's an observation deck close to the playground, where you will find many ducks sleeping. If they are not sleeping, they will come up to you, expecting you to feed them. The walking path has many benches where you can sit and relax or eat a snack. There's a lovely apple tree between the tennis courts and the baseball field. The apples were small but tasty. We like visiting this park to see the wildlife, and it has plenty of space to play.
