Ready, set, let's go have some fun! Hope Park awaits!

Located just off of I-77 in Mooresville, Hope Park has a fun-themed playground, splash pad, and picnic areas. This might be a small park but kids, especially younger ones will be entertained for hours. When you first walk up the splash pad will be the first thing you see. There are multiple sprayers from both above and on the ground, dump buckets, and spinning sprayers. The splash pad starts by stomping on the center white button and continues to spray for a set time. There are five benches lining the wall of the splash pad in the shade. This is great for parents to sit and hang out while watching the kids in the water. As you continue into the park you will come to a wooden blue Indy car and the playground. The fenced-in playground is divided into two areas, The Tot Lot for ages 2 - 5 and the Race Park for ages 5 - 12. The Tot Lot area has a play structure with steps, a slide, bouncing bridge, tunnel, balancing board, and a pretend wooden race car. There is also a play house, tic tac toe board and a swing set with an ADA accessible swing. The Race Park area has a larger play structure with multiple slides, climbing, and steps. There is also a balance/climbing course with a bouncing bridge, rock wall, ropes to walk, and monkey bars. For pretend play there are two wooden race cars and a play house plus a swing set with a tire swing. Both playgrounds have turf and poured rubber for easy play between both the splash pad and playground. It’s a great place in the summer to be able to play and then cool off in the water. I would recommend wearing water shoes to be able to easily run between the two play spaces or many kids ran around barefoot. The playground has benches in the middle and at the exit. The play area only has one way in and out which makes it easy to keep an eye on the kids. Most of the playground area is in full sun. There is a shaded bench seating area on the opposite side of the splash pad.

Splash pad hours: 10:00 am-7:00 pm - Memorial Day weekend-Labor Day.

A local favorite and one worth visiting if you are in town, check out Hope Park for your next family-friendly adventure.
