Splish splash. Hydrous is a fun water zone with some extreme fun for big kids and adults in the family.

Located in Allen Station Park, the Hydrous Wake Park has some extreme fun. The Hydrous Main Cables run in 2-hour sessions with a maximum of 20 riders out per session. There are multiple jumps, rails, and space to ride. It goes in a circular path allowing multiple riders at a time. Everyone is really helpful and the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. So don't hesitate to ask questions especially if you are new.

Hydrous Wake Park is a great place to learn to wakeboard. They offer lessons on a private cable with a skilled instructor. These one-hour lessons can be for beginners or advanced boarders looking to gain new skills. For these semi-private lessons, there can be 1 - 4 riders and includes all rental gear plus a one-hour pass to the main cable park or aqua park when you are done. The price is $175 for the group (not per person) of up to 4 riders. So bring family or friends to learn with you. There is also a 2-hour group party (5 - 10 riders) which includes two hours of private training, all rental gear, and full access to the main cable system and aqua park. This is $350 for the group of up to 10 and not per person. This would make for a fun party.

The Aqua Park is a great way to cool off during the summer. The park has giant floating playgrounds for both kids and adults of all ages. There is big slides, climbing, and an obstacle course to challenge yourself to get through. The Aqua Park also runs in two-hour sessions but can purchase more playtime if you are having too much fun. Everyone will get a kick out of playing on this floating playground.

Need a unique summer fun camp? Hydrous Wake Park offers summer camp Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 11:30 am. Camp is geared towards children ages 7 - 15 of all skill levels. This camp is unique in the fact that the children decide what they would like to do. They can spend all week at the aqua park, check out wakeboarding, or do some of both.

Bring a lunch or snacks with you as they have picnic tables to sit and hang out at while watching others at the park. There are restrooms available to change out of wet clothes. Hydrous Park is so fun and a great place for the adventurous kid in your family. You can find them on Facebook and Instagram @hydrouswakeparks for the latest updates. When you are done check out the Edge Skate Park just down the road or to a local eat or treat in Allen.
