Hyper Kidz is the perfect place for kids to enjoy a very active, fun and safe playtime.

Price is reasonable during the weekdays, but weekends can get pricey (especially with kids over three years old). It is the ideal spot for a snow day, an unexpected school closure, or when you just want to celebrate with your kids.

What to expect

It is a very well-designed indoor playground.

Padded floors exist all over the facility. There is a large area for bigger kids to play with more than a handful of different slides, softball shooters, mazes, ball pits with a twist, trampolines, a disco floor and more. There is also a separate area for smaller kids so they can enjoy slides and ball pits that are safe and more age-appropriate. There is also a calmer, more hidden area with a large ice cream truck. Here, kids who need a calmer space can play pretend without the excitement of all the games.

Hyper Kidz is also very well staffed. There are usually several people at the entrance table who can answer any questions and can process any food purchase. They also have on-site staff that is constantly cleaning the facilities. The music is also well selected; my kids loved every song. And last but not least, they have accessible and clean bathrooms.

Food

They offer many foods kids like: Lunchables, dipping dots, apple juice, chips and bars. The decoration is top-to-bottom candy canes and sweets, so do not expect them to sell broccoli and carrots! However, they do have two separate areas to eat, so you can keep your social distance comfortably while eating indoors if you choose to stay to grab a snack.

Just note that they do not allow outside food. That said, they are very understanding of outdoor water bottles. It is not the best area to eat outside or bring a picnic, but there is a Five Guys a mile drive from the play place.

Parent sitting areas

And what separates this indoor playground - for me - from others is how well it caters to parents. There is a coffee area where you can buy coffee pods and make your own coffee while sitting on the side watching your kids. As a matter of fact, every area has a designated sitting area where parents can sit and see the kids play comfortably. The best one of these areas is right in front of the big kids' playground. It has these large puffy rectangles that act as very comfortable lounge chairs. It's perfect.

Recommendations

If possible, try to organize your visit so that other parents and kids can join your family. The playground is so fun it is worth sharing with friends.

Bring lots of water.

Arrive early if you want to avoid crowds.

And don't forget to sign waivers for everyone!
