Play on the playground, swim in the water and enjoy a picnic at Juanita Beach Park!

Juanita Beach Park is located on the coast of Juanita Bay and Lake Washington. It has sports fields, a boat launch area, fishing, walking paths, picnic areas, a playground, a swimming beach, tennis, and more.  A large parking lot off of NE Juanita drive has a fair amount of spots to accommodate crowds. In 2020 brand new bathrooms, playgrounds and pavilions were installed. You can rent paddleboards or kayaks in the park. The boat launch is where you can send off your own non-motorized boats. The swimming beach has lifeguards and specific areas designated to depths. Kids can enjoy a shallow end of the lake and those with larger aspirations can be satisfied in the designated deeper areas. Walkers and joggers can use the elevated platform above the water that loops around the swimming area in the middle of the lake. There are rails on both sides of the walking area too. I would suggest bringing a picnic to enjoy along the water. There are tables and pavilions in and out of the shade. Also, there are grills to use near the parking area in front of the park. The playground is new and sits on a turf surface. There are lots of climbing pieces, slides, various swings, and obstacles. The vibrant greens and blue colors attract visitors and give the structures a sleek design. If you have smaller kids, there is a play structure dedicated to them in size! Bring some sports equipment to use the sand volleyball courts, tennis courts, and other ball fields. Clean restrooms and a bathhouse provide safe spaces for all gender identities. No matter what you do here, enjoy the time with family, yourself, and even your furry friends!
