Kate's Skating Rink is great fun for the whole family from the youngest to the oldest. 

Located in Indian Trail, right off Highway 74, Kate's Skating Rink is fun for the whole family. Inside is a large roller skating rink with a concession stand, game room, and play gym. For young and beginner riders they have skate mates to hang on to while learning to skate. Young kids enjoy the play gym and a good break between skating. The game room area has a good variety of arcade games to earn tickets for prizes. The cafe offers whole pizzas, pizza by the slice, wings, nachos, hot dogs, pretzels, popcorn, cotton candy, pickles, and a variety of fountain drinks, water, and coffee. They play kids friendly music during family times and have DJs for adult nights. It really is a fun time. 

The price varies for the day and hours you come. Here is a list of the weekly specials:

Monday open for private events. 
Tuesday is Family Night. Admission is $7 and includes play gym. The skate rental is not included. 
Wednesday is Stroll and Roll from 10am to noon. It's $5 a person which includes skate rental, play gym, and the skate mate. You can also bring scooters, bikes, and ride-on toys to move around the rink. Wednesday night is Family Night with admission is $7 which includes the play gym. 
Thursday is Adult Night (18 and up) with admission is $10 and skate rental not included. 
Friday is Family Fun Friday with admission only $10. 
Saturday during the day is family session for $12 and the evening is Adult Session for $10. 
Sunday is Afternoon Skate with admission for $8 and parents are half off with paying child admission. 

Kate's Skating Rink has events throughout the year with fun themes and all day skates. They also have homeschool days each month. Have a unique birthday and celebrate at Kate's this year.
