Explore the best family-friendly places to grab a craft beer in and around Philadelphia.
1. Frankford Hall
Not necessarily a night-time family destination but until about 7 pm, we always have a great time with our kids at this hip Philadelphia beer hall. We love that Frankford Hall is a large, festive space with long tables to accommodate big groups, a la carte dining with giant pretzels and schnitzel to be had, as well as options for keeping active ones busy. We love having a family ping-pong tournament, building JENGA towers, and playing foosball.
Street parking is available but you can also take the Market Frankford Line from Center City which is a few blocks away at Frankford-Girard station then walk from there.

2. The Creamery at Kennett Square
Touted as a pop-up beer garden and community meeting space, the Creamery is an expansive and magical wonderland for family time situated in Kennett Square, PA. If you plan to spend time at Longwood Gardens or other nearby attractions, we highly recommend making The Creamery part of your itinerary. This place was designed with families in mind (children’s garden play space next to an ice cream truck) but can also cater to a parents' night out sans kiddos (yes, they have ax throwing). There’s a series of corn hole sets. There are pizzas and other options indoors as well as a rotating food truck calendar; you can usually take a peek on their website or social media pages.

3. Conshohocken Brewing Brewpub at Bridgeport
This is a great option on a rainy or sunny day, but we prefer to be in the outdoor space overlooking the river when we can. The outdoor space serves beers, some snacks and has classic brewery activities in jumbo form, including giant connect 4 and Jenga sets. Your kid may also be a toddler and like to play with the rocks that line the space. Bring sunscreen because there isn’t a ton of shade. If you opt for an indoor experience, we like that there is a nice kids menu, high chairs/booster seats, local beers, and awesome desserts.

4. Levante Brewing
This brewery has a smaller footprint and is in an industrial park that can have you thinking, where has my GPS brought me now but we think it’s worth exploring and really has our top prize for beers for the grown-ups- trust us! There is both indoor and outdoor seating so get there early to snag a coveted spot with an umbrella for shade.
There is usually a food truck on daily rotation so if you have a picky eater, best to check if it’s a match for what your little ones might eat, or plan to pack a couple of snacks in your bag.
