Liberty Ridge Elementary School Playground has a wide variety of activities available to keep your little ones busy for a couple of hours.
The playground here is located in the back of the school, so you need to pull behind the building to find it. As soon as we arrived, my kids were in heaven. There is so much to do here.
We love school playgrounds because they usually have different types of equipment than playgrounds located at city parks. One end of the playground consists of an obstacle course with 2 types monkey bars, a zip line, gymnastics bar and wiggly stepping stones. Next to this area is the big playground structure. Attached to this are multiple slides, climbing rocks, a fire pole, a bridge, and so many more climbers.
On the back of the playground you'll find an entire row of tire swings, it might have been the highlight for my kiddos. Scattered throughout the equipment were a couple of other playground pieces. A circular monkey bar area, a climber that looks like a rock wall with an interesting shape, and big kid swings. There is one ADA swing on the end of the swing set. One positive here compared to other school playgrounds is the amount of seating. There are multiple benches located on the edges of the area. Because it is a school there are no bathrooms are available. The ground is made up of wood chips, so closed-toed shoes usually work best in my opinion.
After a fun afternoon here, head over to Bridgeman's Ice Cream and grab a sweet treat before heading home.
