Littlestown Park Has Baseball Diamonds, Two Tennis Courts, and a Short Nature Trail that Leads You Down by a Small Creek.
Littlestown Park is not one of the biggest parks around, but it's perfect if you are looking to make a short stop and grab some fresh air. The park is located in Littlestown and has multiple baseball diamonds, two tennis courts, and a small creek and trail towards the back of it.
Littlestown Park has a playground as well; however, it is not big and pretty old. The playground consists of a couple of swings and a piece of playground equipment. This park is better suited for families just wanting to get out and hoping to see and feed the turtles. Or for couples wanting to grab a quick game of tennis on one of their courts!
The bridge towards the back will lead you over the small creek and to a dirt trail where you can go for a short nature hike. It's a small wooded area, but perfect for young kids who want to feel like they are on an adventure! You will often be able to see turtles, frogs, or larger birds near the creek or within the wooded area.
There are pavilions you can rent out for large gatherings, and with the amount of green space surrounding the area, it's perfect for just that! Bathrooms are located directly next to the large pavilion, and there are ample parking spots around the park.
Attached to the park is also the Littlestown Community Pool through the YMCA. It's the perfect stop to cool down after spending an hour or so at the park. Entrance fees are $8 per person, $4 per person after 4:00 pm, and Free for three and under. This is a seasonal outdoor pool, so it will only be open during the warmer months.
