Community outdoor 3 pool complex with snacks and daily admission for all ages!

This hidden gem is a really nice aquatic facility with low admission costs and kept very clean! It’s a little far back from the main road that runs through Louisa making it really private with low foot and vehicle traffic. There are three pools with the deepest one being just 6 feet deep. The pools are a pretty blue. They are clean and there’s plenty of seating around the pool area. The area is stroller friendly and has some basic locker rooms with changing areas and restrooms cleaner than most community pools. Bring all your swimmers of all ages as there’s a Junior Olympic size competitive pool, an activity pool for games and exercise classes, and a toddler pool with a fountain sprinkler. 

This facility is open Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend and includes concession items available to purchase and no outside food or beverages are allowed. This facility is managed by Louisa County Parks, Recreation and Tourism. There is a snack stand selling chips and drinks at the desk and drinks are reasonably priced (cheaper than a grocery or convenience store). And while there’s no outside food allowed, there’s a playground and picnic tables right outside the gate!

Great news! The Louisa County Parks, Recreation & Tourism Department is now open for two operating sessions per day from 11:00a.m. - 3:00p.m. and 3:15p.m. - 7:15p.m. daily. Price is per session so you would have to pay twice for entrance at both times. They accept “walk-ups” until the facility reaches its modified maximum capacity of 150 people. If you would like to guarantee space or pay by debit/credit card, you can still do so by calling the office at 540 967-4420 and making a payment over the phone. We are currently only able to accept cash on-site at the Aquatic Facility. I’ve heard they are flexible if something happens last minute and you’ve already paid, they will offer a credit for another day. 

They are still practicing physical distancing outside of the pool and disinfecting restrooms and pool furniture.
