Middleton Elementary School Playground is a fabulous spot to visit and wear your kiddos out with the fabulous obstacle course.

As soon as we pulled around the back of the school building, my kids were screaming with excitement over an obstacle course playground. There is a huge lot for parking or pull right up to the curb like I did. The playground is set up with so many activities. I am not sure if it is meant to be an obstacle course but my kids made it one and had plenty of races while we were there. There are more swings than you will know what to do with, a tire swing, multiple types of monkey bars, slides, gymnastics type beams and bars, and lastly, tons and tons of climbing areas. Since it is a school, evenings after 6 or weekends are a perfect time to visit.

I always find that school playgrounds are very quiet so if your kiddo gets overwhelmed with larger playgrounds with lots of kids running around, this is a great spot. There is no shade here, so be prepared with sunscreen on hot summer days. Also, because it's a school, no bathrooms. This is easily a spot that you could spend a couple hours if your kids love obstacle courses and getting creative when playing, so definitely stop on the way there for a potty break.

After a visit here, head over to Yogurt Lab and grab a sweet treat to cool the kids down after an afternoon in the sun.
