This community park consists of a playground, multipurpose fields, workout equipment, and offers greenway access too.

Located in the heart of Morrisville, you’ll find a lovely community park with tons of amenities to please the whole family. There’s a large playground with a toddler section, featuring three slides, steps, climbing, and an interactive station. For older kids, there’s a huge play structure with various slide types including tubes and twisting slides. There’s also a climbing area, tunnels, bridges, monkey bars, and a large tic tac toe game. In addition to the jungle gyms, there’s also a swing set with traditional swings, baby swings, and a tire swing. The playground sits atop poured-in rubber and is surrounded by much. 

Though mature trees surround the park and provide a great deal of shade in the summer, the playground is largely exposed to full sun, so it can be especially warm during the peak of summer. 

At Morrisville Community Park you’ll also find a mostly shaded area that’s equipped with various workout stations for adult use. There are also numerous fields for ball playing, soccer, t-ball, tag, and more. Public restrooms and a picnic shelter are also available for use onsite. 

Additionally, from the playground, there’s access to the Hatch Creek Greenway. The paved trail runs just under a mile and a half one way making for a nice and leisurely walk roundtrip. If you and the kids want a longer adventure, this trail connects to both the Crabtree Greenway and Indian Creek Greenway. The paths receive ample shade making them a lovely place to stroll, walk, bike, scooter, or skate.

This is a great playground and park. Definitely worth exploring for some family fun.
