Moxie delivers both savory and sweet treats!

This local favorite, in downtown Louisville, is a must-visit with your kids. Moxie Bread Co uses fresh, unprocessed Heirloom grains.  Heirloom grains predate 1960/70's American Industrialization and are easier to digest.  They support local Colorado businesses for all the supplies they need for their delicious creations. If you like fresh food, crunchy crusted bread, and pastries that rival European cafes, this is your stop!  Their menu is extensive for a bakery.  You can order sweet pastries such as chocolate-filled croissants, eclairs, or muffins to name a few, or enjoy a meal with sandwiches or salads.  Be sure to buy a bread to bring home for breakfast the next day!  Or, take home your very own sourdough starter!  They will even supply you with information on how to take care of your starter to move you along in your breadmaking process. 

Located in a 19th century home, it adds to the charm of this downtown location.  Plenty of outside seating makes it easy for kids to enjoy the fresh air and explore close by. There are tables in front and in the back of the store.  Coffee, tea, water, hot chocolate, and various adult beverages are available, including wine!  You can even order meals to take home such as lasagna or mac n' cheese.
