Mt. Tabor Park is a quiet little park in a quiet little neighborhood!

Located moments away from Richmond Road and Man o War Blvd, Mt. Tabor Park, is a hidden gem. 

The park has a 1.3 mile paved walking trail that meanders around the park. While you walk you can check out the tennis courts, basketball courts, soccer fields, and playground. There is a shelter that sits beside the playground with picnic tables ready for your picnic lunch unless you would rather take a blanket to any of the green spaces throughout the park to enjoy your lunch instead. All of the park's amenities are far enough apart to enjoy separately but also most are within eye line of each other so that you can keep an eye on your little ones if they are wanting to do different activities.  The park does have a few shady areas and the shelter has quite a bit of space under it if you need to get out of the sun for a bit. 

There are portapotties available should the need arise. The parking lot for Mt. Tabor Park is on the small side, but it doesn't seem to be an issue during the week. On the weekends the park hosts youth soccer games and the parking lot fills up quickly, however, the neighborhood has plenty of street parking and it's within a quick walk into the park. It's a perfect park to enjoy on a whim for playground time or to shake up your daily walk.
