The Niceville Children's Park is a well-appointed park located at the Civic Center Complex in Niceville.

The park has courteous attendants on duty who welcome your questions and concerns and are quick to offer any assistance you may need while visiting the park. The City of Niceville has truly created a fun and safe place for children to play while providing plenty of shaded seating for caregivers to relax while watching them. 

Some of the attractions you will find inside the fully fenced park include multiple large play structures with slides of different heights, a rock-climbing structure, a bubble machine, as well as monkey bars. 

Located within The Niceville Children's Park, you will also find Spray Park, a popular destination for children looking to cool off during the hot days and warm evenings. There are several splash pad-style water attractions, such as spraying palm trees, a heron soaker, and mushroom sprinklers. You will also find comfortable tables with umbrellas and chairs available for adults to relax and enjoy watching the children play. The Spray Park is open seasonally, May through September, during regular park hours and is only operational on weekends during September. 

Walkways are found throughout the park allowing easy access to all attractions. Seating areas with gazebos and cabanas are available where families and friends can share a meal or picnic. Cabanas and pavilions can be reserved for parties or events by calling 850-279-6436. Bathroom facilities with changing tables and drink machines are conveniently located within the park. Park rules state that pets and glass containers are not allowed.  

The City of Niceville will close the Children's Park whenever the safety of visitors is in question. The attendant may close the park at their discretion due to extreme weather conditions or when there is lightning spotted in the area. The park has been operating on a limited schedule due to Covid precautions, so be sure to check the website for the most current information.
