Pine Glen Park is one of those parks that I would call "an oldie but a goodie," with many fun activities for different ages. 

This neighborhood park has so much more to offer than just its playground. The amount of open space, along with all of the other activities there, makes this the perfect outdoor space for families of all ages. If you have children of a range of ages, you may struggle to find activities to entertain them. This is a perfect stop if that is the case. You can see all of the areas of the park from the playground. The basketball hoops are very close to it, as are the baseball/softball fields. That is always a plus when going to the park with kids of different ages. 

Neighborhood walking trails connect to this park. They are nice and quiet. They would be a perfect spot to come if your child is learning how to ride a bike or if you wanted to go for a quiet jog with the kids. I have also seen lots of people rollerblading and walking dogs on these paths. 

The playground here is quite simple. There are slides, swings, monkey bars, and multiple climbing structures. As a busy mom, I know that we all need a break. If your kiddos are at an age where they can play safely on the playground, this is a perfect spot to bring a book and read or scroll happyly for inspiration for your next outing.

This is just one of the many parks Cottage Grove has to offer. They are all very clean and well-maintained. I suggest making this park one of your stops on a day of park-hopping. Bring a picnic lunch or stop by Bella Pizza afterwards for a slice of lunch pizza!
