Pine Tree Pond Park, located in the heart of Cottage Grove, has beautiful scenery. 

Like all of the parks in Cottage Grove, this one is no different and is surrounded by multiple trails that go off in each direction connecting it to more parks. This park might be the most beautiful in terms of nature. This area is very clean and well-maintained by the city. The park offers so much more than just a playground. There's an archery area, a basketball area, and many trails. 

The playground here isn't huge by any means but gets the job done. There's a swing set with four swings. 2 big kid swings and two baby swings. A standing teeter-totter, I've honestly never seen anything like this in my entire life. It kind of looks like a tractor. You and a friend or sibling stand on each side and rock back and forth. Super cute and was a huge hit with my kids. The playground structure here consists of a smaller play area for toddlers and a larger play area for bigger kids. The more extensive play area consists of a twister slide, two climbers, a fire pole, and a double slide. The double slides are a hit with my kids. They love racing down the slides. The toddler play equipment is simple and small. It's just a little climber with a slide attached. It's nothing fancy but it gets the job done. 

After spending some time here, head by Avon Hansen's Meats down the road and grab some meat to grill for supper!
