Nolensville Park Playground is a really fun spot for little ones in the Nashville area.

Located in the heart of Nolensville, this small playground has many features that are great for young children and toddlers. Of all the playgrounds I have visited in the greater Nashville area, I would recommend this one the most to families with babies that may be overwhelmed by larger spaces or who aren't quite ready for independent playground play. There are baby swings, small slides, walkable ramps, low climbing features and ride-on animals available. There is also a larger slide and regular swings that older children can use. There is a picnic table and bench nearby as well as a small pavilion where you can sit and eat lunch if you would like. In the summer, the playground equipment is mostly covered in shade by a large tree so the equipment doesn't get too hot. This playground also has mulch so tennis shoes are recommended. I have been several times and have never seen this park crowded. It is more popular in the afternoons after school lets out.

The playground is right beside the parking lot that leads to the football and baseball fields. There is also a dog park and a stroller-friendly walking path. Bathrooms may or may not be available depending on when you visit and what recreational activities are planned. There is a portable bathroom available for use by the baseball fields if the bathrooms are closed.

If you are looking to spend more time at the park or in the Nolensville area, there are many places you can visit that are walkable from the playground. If you hop on the trail at the end of the football fields you will see a bridge. When you go over the bridge you will arrive at the Amish Country Market at the Feed Mill which has many fun treats and dishes you can try. They have picnic tables and outdoor seating available as well. Just behind the Feed Mill you can gain access to the creek and skip a few rocks. The water is very shallow and easy for young children to navigate.
