Enjoy the splash pad and playground surrounded by trees in Robinwood Park.

Robinwood Park is a 15 acre park located in West Linn, ten miles south of Portland.

My kids and I love this park. Everytime we have stopped there, it has been quiet with very few others visiting. I really enjoy the splash pad in the summer months because it is not as crowded as others in the area. Trees surround the playground and splash pad which keeps it shaded until the afternoon. This is nice because the slides do not get hot quickly during the summer.

The playground would be great for ages 3 to 12-year-olds, but my 18-month old also loves it. I just have to keep an eye on her and help her with the steps. A big grassy area separates the playground and parking lot area. This is a great place to play catch or kick a ball. There are picnic tables all around or you can bring a picnic blanket and enjoy food.

Although the playground is for younger kids, they have a basketball court and skate area. There are also many trees to climb. The paved trail around the park is great to practice riding a bike.

Bathrooms and water are closed for the winter. The baby changing station in the women's bathroom was broken last summer so I changed her on the grass. Splash pad is open from Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day weekend.

How to get there: take Highway 43 in West Linn and turn onto Fairview way. Follow Fairview down until it ends. Park will be on the right.

Since its not crowded it is a great park to invite a friend or host a moms group to meet up. Grab a coffee at Starbucks or grab food at Burgerville.
