Roshak Park is a cute neighborhood park with a playground perfect for children under twelve years of age.
Roshak Park has two playgrounds with a covered shelter in the middle. The playground to the right of the shelter is perfect for ages two to five. There are a few slides, climbing structures, spinning poles, and balancing areas. One side of the play structure is in the form of an obstacle course. The playground to the left of the shelter is suitable for ages 5 to 12. It has a few slides, climbing structures, drop zone tower, bridge, tunnel, and a scavenger hunt. Both playgrounds have small roof type tops which keeps some rain out. There are benches and water fountains around the playgrounds as well.
The kids love playing hide and seek and freeze tag on the turf. There's a large set of stairs which the kids love running up and down. There's not much for teenagers at this park. They do have a Pokemon Go gyms if your kids are into that. There are no bathrooms at this time, so plan ahead. There is not much shade other than the covered shelter so make sure to bring water and sunscreen. The park seems to be more on the quiet side so would be great to host a playdate. Parking is only available on the street.
Grab a coffee at Dutch Bros on your way or stop by Casa Lola Kitchen de Mexico for lunch. If you're looking for a sweet treat, Crumbl cookies is also close by. Big Al's has many arcade games and bowling if you are up for more entertainment.
