Craving some Italian food, look no further than Scalia and Co! 

Located in Monroe, Scalia & Co Kitchen and Bar is locally owned and operated by Vito, Peter, and Marco Scalia, who also own the deli next door called 'Best of Little Italy." They are serving up homemade Italian classics, pizza, and pasta and make you feel like you are coming home to dinner with the family. 

Scalia & Co Kitchen and Bar's menu has something for the whole family. Start off with appetizers like truffle cheese fries, eggplant crostini, seasonal soups, caprese, meatballs, fried calamari, antipasto, and homemade mozzarella sticks. You can order family style dinners which gives you four servings of pasta, homemade rosemary focacccia and the choice of one large Caesar salad or one large Insalata Misto. Pastas to choose from are jumbo cheese ravioli, penne ala vodka with chicken, penne ala bolognese, rigatoni with meat sauce, spaghetti with meatballs, chicken cutlet Parmesan, baked cheese manicotti, or a 12 inch pizza and pasta. Pizzas are done in an 850 degree wood fire oven and made with the sauce from genuine San Marzaro tomatoes and hand crafted mozzarella. Choose your own toppings or choose from chef-created ideas, either way you can't go wrong with a delicious pizza.

Scalia & Co has a fantastic seafood menu as well. The raw bar serves up blue point oysters, little neck clams, and chilled shrimp cocktail or you can get something hot with garlicky steamed clams, clams with garlic and herb crumb topping, or firecracker shrimp as well as seafood pastas. The kids menu features a kid-sized portion of pasta or a 12 or 6 inch margherita pizza.  This sample is only the tip of the iceberg when it comes to their extensive menu. The hardest part will be deciding what to eat. 

Come in for brunch and you can get Belgium waffles, eggs, homemade pancakes, omelettes, steak and eggs, and crab cakes Benedict. They also have chicken and waffles, "bacon, egg, and cheese" pizza, and a brunch burger.

The bar offers an extensive menu of hand crafted classics and signature cocktails made with fresh fruit and herbs. They also serve a minimum of nine imported and local craft beers on tap and eight different wines by the glass, quartino, or carafe.
