Teddy Bear Park will delight kids of all ages, featuring slides shaped like trains, a climbing area, and picnic tables.
Kids will adore playing in this enclosed playground filled with teddy bears, trains, and more! Parents can also sit back and rest easy knowing that this playground is a safe place for kids to run about, given its high walls and a single entrance. Upon arrival, you will be greeted by a giant teddy bear and a few smaller ones too. While you can't climb on the enormous teddy statue, the smaller ones are perfect for a quick cuddle. Beyond the teddy bears, you'll find several play structures for kids to play on, including one suited for toddlers and older children.
Small children will delight in train-shaped slides, digging in the sand, and climbing on the wooden boat. Then, older children can glide from platform to platform under the large slides, climb and jump along the climbing wall, and crawl across the spider web. Plus, parents can sit back on one of the many benches around the playground. Whether you want to be centrally located in the pretend train waiting station, or along the edge of the playground in the amphitheater seating or a beach, you'll find the perfect perch to watch your children play. Staying for lunch? You'll find three picnic tables tucked in the corner perfect for the occasion!
Find parking on the street or park in the public parking lot adjacent to the park. Inside the playground, most of the surfaces are hard turf-like spaces, with some sand pits strategically placed along the edge. Before you go, be sure to check the schedule, the amphitheater hosts children's programs throughout the summer. Note, pets are not allowed and this playground is only open seasonally. Afterward, you can head down to Stillwater's riverside for a walk across the footbridge or to play along the water too!
