The Biggest and Most Extreme Milkshake You've Ever Had!

The Yard Milkshake Bar is a chain of extreme milkshake places located in the South. In Madison, AL, the Yard is a local highlight. It appeared on the popular show "Shark Tank" in 2019 and has been growing ever since. They serve extreme milkshakes, ice cream, bowls, edible cookie dough, and much more. They cater to many dietary restrictions like lactose intolerance, vegan, and gluten-free (with more than just one or two options). The Yard is a little pricey, but I really think it's all about the experience, treat yourself!

These huge shakes are an entire pint and combine ice cream, toppings, a hunk of dessert, and more. The presentation and reaction when receiving one are awesome. Kids and adults will love the bright colors and overflowing treats out the top. If that's not your thing, you can order just a scoop of ice cream and customize it to however you'd like. The menu is huge and offers seasonal specials. There is also a  "secret menu" that has a special flavor not mentioned. You can check out their online menu for the full visual experience and that secret menu option because it is truly insane (in a good way). 

An item I found really cool is the bowl section. They're like the trendy acai bowls but in dessert form. It is an ice cream base and then all the toppings related to the item's name. For instance, the mermaid bowl has a white chocolate mermaid tail, and the grand slam has a baseball cookie. The owners and founders of the Yard really took details into consideration. You almost don't want to eat it because they're so pictures. It's also not a bad idea to share, especially with kiddos ;)!
