This Farm Has It All! From Apple Picking to Homemade Ice cream, Everyone in Your Family Will Have a Great Time!

Tranquility Farms is a nice family activity any time of year, but especially in the summer and fall.

Free activities include a playground with a wooden tractor and ship. Here kids can climb, swing, and slide, most don’t want to leave to do anything else. The petting zoo features cows, sheep, and goats and don’t miss a chance to see Zulu the Zonkey! Yes, Zulu is a zebra/donkey.

During the summer, the u-pick flower fields are in bloom and last throughout the fall. The beautiful rows of flowers are fun to frolic through and take photos. In the fall there are rows upon rows of sunflowers. Flowers are a dollar a stem so let your creativity run wild and create a one of a kind bouquet to take home.

Starting around Labor Day, it’s apple picking season, and by the end of September, the Fall Fest starts where your family can pick apples and pumpkins. Apples are priced by the bag and pumpkins by the pound. Fall fest offers some additional free activities like a hay pyramid with tube slide and a greenhouse filled with corn bins and games. For a fee, Fall Fest also has a hay ride, corn maze, cow train, bounce pillow, and pumpkin launcher.

In the winter the farm has Christmas trees, wreaths, and other holiday items available.

The farm stand is open year round with locally grown seasonal produce. There are also specialty items and the farm’s own raised beef and pork. The ice cream window is also open year round and it is a highly recommended and delicious treat! There are picnic tables throughout the farm and occasional visits from food trucks as well.
