Tualatin Community Park Playground is a great area to get your children's energy out.
This playground has one big playground with a sandpit and a water feature close by. There are two play structures, one for little kids and one for children 5 to 12 years old. The ground is covered in bark which is nice when the kids fall but can be a pain when the bark gets into their shoes.
There's a slide, a climbing structure, and baby swings for the children ages two to five. There's also an area for imaginative play with a train station setup. They have a train, a seating area with a table, and a ticket counter. The bigger area has swings, including an ADA-friendly swing. There are multiple climbing structures including a large rope one and one that includes a slide and spinning seats. The stand-up spinners are a hit with my kids.
The water feature at the sandpit was closed for the winter. It's a great place to bring sand toys and build a castle. I would recommend bringing a towel, hand sanitizer, snacks, and water when you come to the playground. Food and shops are a short drive or a half-mile walk away. Parking lots, restrooms, picnic tables, and benches are close by. The covered shelter by the playground can be reserved by calling or online. The grassy area next to the playground is perfect for lawn games or tag. There's a sign for multiple art walk loops you can also do if you want to see interesting art.
