To best see the wintering swans, park near Pavillon 2 and take the wide trail in. As views to the lake open on the left, you will see a smaller trail veer off to follow the lakeshore. Take this trail. It will loop around to follow the river. Between the lake and the bridge is the best place to see the swans. Watch kids by the open water - don't let them get too close. After viewing the swans, keep walking toward the bridge. From here, you can cross the bridge for a longer walk or head right. If heading right, it will take you back to the wide trail. From here, a right takes you further, while a left takes you back to the parking lot.
Pavillon 2 is also where you will find the on-site playground, as well as season bathrooms and a large pavilion (available for reservations).
Be careful when plugging the trail into your GPS; make sure it is taking you to Pavillon 2 to best swan viewing and the playground.
