West Draw Park is an incredible park in Cottage Grove! 

The biggest draw to this park is the bike park. Other amenities include the picnic structure, the playground, and tons of green space. Like all of the other parks in the area, this one has multiple trails going off in different directions that connect it with other parks. 

The playground here is simple, it's nothing too fancy or out of the ordinary, but it's still such a great spot to check out. It consists of a swing set with multiple baby/toddler swings and big kid swings. The play structure has numerous slides, including a spiral slide, a more extended slide, a dual toddler slide, climbing areas, a fire pole, musical drums, and stairs. The playground is an excellent spot where a variety of ages will enjoy playing. There's plenty to do for toddlers and lots to do for school-agers. My kiddos' favorite parts were the stepping stones and the number of bars they could make gymnastics moves on. The structure is located a decent distance from the road and parking lot, a huge plus for moms with toddlers who like to take off. Next to the play structure is a covered shelter with a few picnic tables. It's a perfect spot to sit in the shade and watch the kids, or have a picnic lunch or snack time. 

After spending some time here, head over to the 3rd Act Craft Brewery and grab some appetizers and a pint of beer on the beautiful patio!
