Wrightsville Beach is known for crystal blue waters, white sand with spacious beaches.

Most NC beaches have hard dark sand as you get closer to South Carolina.  So Wrightsville is a beautiful gem with glorious beaches!  It's an adorable and happening little beach town too with a year-round vibe.  Closest to Wilmington, it feels like an extension of the creative city. Standup paddleboarding (SUP) is big here and surfing, thus lots of surf camps and kids programs.  

Everything is walkable once you get to the beach strip so you can enjoy shopping, family-friendly dining, parks and seasonal activities.
