Sometimes on Saturday morning, the path of least resistance is going to your neighborhood playground, and this serves a very practical purpose. Ultimately though, we believe diversifying playgrounds is an important part of development for kids under seven.

All it takes to remind us of that, is to observe the look on your kiddos face every time they go down a new slide, get all the way across unfamiliar monkey bars or climb a new ladder! It’s the best to experience that enthusiasm each and every time.

These benefits don’t stop in the moment, they help build your child's confidence and willingness to try new things in their daily life. So, if you’re thinking about mixing it up this week, we are here to help you find a playground that has been officially endorsed by our experienced ambassadors.

Search for fresh playgrounds ideas in the "Activity" section of our app and website (filter parks and playgrounds) or surf through our "Curated Plans" for well-rounded afternoons, full days or weekend that include time at a playground that your family has yet to explore!

A few friendly reminder to be safe in the Covid-19 era:

Have the happyly app on hand with a back up plan in the event you arrive and the playground is just too busy.
Always bring a mask. Even if you are alone, they remind your child not to touch their face.
Use hand sanitizer frequently.
Have a secret word for your kiddo to reinforce the need for social distancing or to alert them that it’s gotten too busy and it’s time to roll out!
