Sledding in DC!!

Published on January 13, 2019 - Updated on June 11, 2019

DC has about five inches of snow with another 2 to 5 inches expected over the course of the day. That can only mean one thing…SLEDDING. Here are a few options if you want to take your sled for a spin!

P and 23rd Street

This is our local sledding hill so keep an eye out for us! We find it’s best to go with a group so that a parent can play “goalie” at the bottom of the hill as Rock Creek runs along the bottom of the hill. They don’t usually get that far, but it makes me feel better to know someone is there! This hill has some areas that are more steep than others and is always a fun time and not usually too crowded. Stop in at Soho Tea & Coffee for some restorative hot chocolate afterwards!
