Back Bay Getaways offers options to sign up for a guided tour with their experienced staff or to go on an adventure yourself. There is no prior experience necessary whether biking or kayaking, and their knowledgable staff is there to guide you and answer any questions you may have. Safety is extremely important, so you will be provided with any equipment needed and briefed on the type of tour you have chosen. You have options to paddle the beautiful waters of Back Bay, cycle down remote trails, or even camp on an isolated beach!
Rentals for solo adventures are available for 2 hours, 4 hours, or 8 hours, with prices ranging from $25-$45. They have several kayak tour options and SUP tours, as well as the option for surf lessons. Their sunset kayak tour sounds absolutely gorgeous as you paddle out and watch the sun set over the pristine waters! You must make advance reservations for all tours and lessons, but are welcome to drop in to rent on your own. Note that there is also a minimum of 4 people for all tours.
The rental shop is located in Sandbridge, where there are over 12,000 acres of protected coastal and marsh habitat, so this is the perfect place to explore on a nice day.
