Bala Cynwyd Park, a 2.4 acre park, has endless options for entertainment for all ages.

There are two separate play structures for different age groups.  With eight different slides between the two play structures, your children are bound to be entertained for a while.  The flooring is wood chips.  Don't forget your sunscreen and hat, as one play structure tends to usually have great shade, but the other is typically in the sun.  There are two full tennis courts, two baseball diamonds, and a small paved path that leads halfway around park.  Bring a ball or two, there is a tripleshoot playground ball game. Two groups of swings, four bucket swings in one set and four swings in the other set.  There are picnic tables around the park as well to sit and enjoy a snack or lunch.  There is plenty of open grass for you to bring a blanket for a picnic lunch or snack as well.   

If you feel like taking a walk or bike ride, the Cynwyd Heritage Trail connects right in the park, which is stroller friendly also.  Forget dinner? Don't stress, there are plenty of restaurants less than a mile drive away and a Target for easy drive up on your way home.  There are restrooms on site for emergencies, but it is suggested you utilize the facilties before you leave your home.  There are no changing tables onsite.  With a small parking lot and plenty of street parking, there is no need to worry about parking.  Grab some suncreen and a tennis racket, and enjoy the Bala Cynwyd Park!
