With a tangled ropes course, super-tall steep slides and a spinning orb, find something new to love at Bev Bos Park!
My children both attended the somewhat famous (in childhood development circles) Roseville Community Preschool, which features lots of risky play with plenty of adult supervision. Kids test out power tools, ride on a zip line, soar through the air on the indoor platform swing, and, on some days, paint their hair. Bev Bos was the beloved founder of the school and it was only fitting that the park dedicated to her legacy be one with plenty of equipment for kids to explore, play and try new things.
The spinning orb became an instant favorite for my kids, both when we visit with friends and when I just have my four year old with me. They love to pile as many kids inside as possible, or spin by themselves. It’s a really creative piece of playground equipment that I’ve never seen at another park. The main play structure features a tangled web of ropes that challenge climbers roughly 3-7 years old. There are little nooks and shelves inside for hiding or resting. Just be prepared to occasionally help extract any younger children! The park also features a tricky ladder that can be climbed two ways, two super steep slides (your child may catch some air on them!), a smaller slide with steps for younger children, big kid swings and baby swings, a covered pavilion and a nice large grassy field.
