Tucked in the trees, on the outskirts of Helotes, Bonnie Conner Park is a great place to spend an afternoon with your crew!  

Surrounded by trees and trails, you would never guess Hausman road was just a few hundred feet away. 

As you enter the park there is a playground on rubber mulch, which comes in handy if you have children that are a little too fast for their feet to keep up with. The playground is equipped with multiple slides, a larger and three smaller versions and a bridge that connects the three slides. You can choose to access the metal play area by climbing the 3.5’ rock wall or just on the other side there is a set of stairs that will lead your little one up to the fun. The play area includes monkey bars, several jungle gyms, ladders and a wall of holes that was perfect for playing “peek a boo.”  The playground features a swing set with two standard swings and is surrounded by several benches as well as a covered pavilion. 

Another great feature of this park is it also has several bodyweight exercise machines as well as a paved walking trail that circles the park if you would like to keep yourself busy as the kids play. 

If you and your little humans get tired of the playground, there is an open field where you can play catch, kickball, fly a kite or just bring a big blanket for a picnic.

They do have bathrooms, but they are porta-potties so I would recommend going ahead of time or bringing a changing mat for quick diaper changes.
