An Awesome playground with 100-Foot long zip in a quiet neighborhood.

Cottonwood Park is a family favorite for sure. It's tucked away in a quiet little neighborhood near The Village in Meridian. Most families head to Kleiner Park but we are huge fans of Cottonwood Park if you want a less busy park but with tons of great amenities. The biggest attraction is their 100-foot long zip line and it's so much fun for the whole family. If your child is old enough to sit on a standard swing then they can enjoy this awesome ride. We spent hours on it going back and forth and both mom and dad had a couple of tries as well.

The playground includes some great climbing walls, a finger maze to promote tactile-based play, and lots of bells and binoculars at the top of the structure to overlook the park. This park has special bonded rubber fall material for the floor of the playground which is so nice especially for beginner walkers. Also has a huge open space to bring soccer balls, kites and a couple of basketball courts. Another great thing about this park is the .30 mile walking loop that goes around the park so bring bikes, scooters and skateboards for the kids to enjoy.

Cottonwood Park is close to The Village in Meridian which offers greats shops and eateries and a great spot to stop before you head to this park. We love to grab a coffee at Royal Coffee Company for a drink and some treats.
