This wonderful campground at Diamond Lake will not disappoint with beautiful scenery and plenty of outdoor recreation nearby!

Diamond Lake is the ultimate spot to camp with unreal mountain views right along the lake and the number of outdoor offerings like biking, hiking, and fishing. Mt. Bailey and Mt. Thielsen are easily viewed from Diamond Lake.

Reservations are available for Diamond Lake campground from June through Labor Day. Otherwise, campsites are first-come, first-served in May, September, and October. Reservations must be made on recreation.gov.

Prices for campsites vary from $16 to $27 based on location (lakeshore or not) and size (single or double).

Campsites come with a picnic table and firepit. The campground restrooms and showers are well-kept. Bring cash for camp shower donations! Water spigots are available near the restrooms.

Diamond Lake campground is located approximately 20 minutes outside of Crater Lake National Park.

Diamond Lake Resort is next to the campground and offers some restaurant options as well as a laundromat, fun recreation options like bumper boats, paddleboats, horseback riding, and more.

There is an 11 mile paved loop around the lake - walk or bike around! Bike rentals are available at the marina store. You are also able to rent fishing boats. Prices vary based on boat type and size. They start at $40 per hour or $90 for an entire day.

Cell service is not reliable in the area and facilities (like grocery stores and gas stations) are extremely limited in the area. Make sure to pack accordingly and plan ahead. Download trail maps or directions to destinations to ensure you do not run into any problems.

Other campground amenities include RV dump stations, boat ramps, fish cleaning stations, and an amphitheater.

Be prepared for lots of bugs in the area. Bug spray, repellent bands, and citronella candles are extremely helpful!
