With a huge play structure surrounded by multileveled grass fields and a riverbed, we could spend hours upon hours at Diamond Oaks!

If you have a slide-loving child, Diamond Oaks Park is going to become an instant favorite. There are slides coming out from all sides of the four-level enclosed staircase, including one that wraps right back around from the fourth level to the third. There are various activities along the stairways and a nook with a seat at the very top. The wobbly bridge is also a favorite with my kids. We love to play “The Three Billy Goats Gruff” and various other games on it and under it.

The wobbly bridge connects to a smaller play structure with a few climbing options, there is also a small rope tower set off to the side for younger kids to climb. The baby swings and big kid swings are on the other side of the play structure. There is a long-covered pavilion that would be perfect for a community event, family gathering or birthday party.

My favorite part about Diamond Oaks park is how well planned it is, there are meandering paths through the large grassy fields and soccer fields. Multi-tiered grass sweeps around the basketball courts and playground and a rocky river bed directs water under a bridge and along the pathway. The grass is well maintained and there are huge oaks throughout the park. It seems that the natural geography and plants were taken into consideration and the result is a unique and beautiful park!
