With three miles of paved trails and hiking trails connected to Dry Creek Community Park, this park will get your whole family moving!

With two nature loving kids, we have visited Dry Creek Community many times and spent hours exploring the creek along with the walking paths that weave through oak trees and native grasses. My kids love to look for tadpoles in the spring and cool off in the summer. In the fall and winter, we focus on the plants and finding nature treasures. The trails are well trafficked and have always felt like a safe place to go for a walk with kids. We do tend to find quite a bit of trash along the creek, so it’s also a great place for a family clean-up project.

The playground recently had a giant shade sail installed that covers the entire large play structure in shade. Such a great addition to help cool you down in the hot summer! The play structure has a tall spiral slide, a bumpy slide, big kid swings, a rock climbing wall, and a few other climbing options. There is an exercise equipment area right next to the playground, perfect for squeezing in a workout while the kids play. The park also includes two tennis courts, a full basketball court, a soccer field and a baseball field. The sidewalk paved path leads to the bike and jogging path and the dirt walking path runs parallel to the biking path.

There are bathrooms available and a covered pavilion with picnic benches.
