Fiala Farms in West Linn offers fresh produce, a corn maze and pumpkins.
The farm is run by a very kind family who takes great care of you during your visit. The farm is different from most pumpkin patches as they are on the smaller side and don’t have as many activities, but it is perfect for a quick visit and a way to show support to local businesses.
In their 2021 season, they were open 7 days a week. On weekends they were open from 10 am - 5 pm and on weekdays they are open from 10 am - 6 pm. Each season is different, so chance their Facebook page around the time of your visit to double-check the updated hours.
The corn maze was really fun and about 2 miles long. We got lost and, so it took us only 30 minutes and somehow we ended up back at the entrance. For anyone 12 years or older, the maze is $7. Ages 6 - 11 are $5 and under 5 are admitted for free. They have you sign your name on a sign-in sheet which gives you access to the maze for the whole month. This means you can go back multiple times and not pay the entrance fee again.
They measure pumpkins by size and are pre-picked ready to be purchased. If you don’t like walking through fields and looking for pumpkins, this is a good farm for that.
Inside they have a small store with fresh produce and flowers. The produce is amazing. We love to buy from local farms and this one was one of the best quality items we got.
On a warmer day, I suggest grabbing ice cream from the shop and doing the maze so that you are not stuck in the heat. Especially if you end up succeeding in the full 2-mile maze.
Since they are run by a small family, they sometimes open randomly during the season. Because of covid, their opening times have varied. They were closed for 2020 but opened in Summer 2021 and Fall 2021. The best way to keep up with updated info is their Facebook page below:
