With plenty of space for gathering, Granite Bay Community Park is perfect for your next kid-friendly get-together or birthday party!

Granite Bay Community Park is an older but well-maintained park located on Douglas Blvd. in Granite Bay. There are fewer parks in Granite Bay than in surrounding cities, and this is one of the largest in the city. It is located on the way to or from Folsom Lake and within walking distance of the Granite Bay Library. It is also next door to The Creative Arts and Music Center, our favorite place for kid’s music and art lessons. The park is across the street from a local favorite strawberry stand and down the street from Urban Sips and Sweets if you are looking for a sweet treat to take home.

The playground has a horse teeter-totter, a play structure for little kids, baby swings, circular monkey bars, a small rigid zipline, big kid swings, a rock climbing wall, and a big kids play structure. There is lots of shade from the surrounding oak trees and we love that the kids can play in the surrounding trees without having to go on a separate nature walk or car trip.

The park has a large covered pavilion that is perfect for gatherings and birthday parties, including two large barbeque pits. The area surrounding the park is a natural preserve with oak trees and grass, perfect for exploring. The park has a walk of honor memorial to honor those who have served in the armed forces and there is a paved loop around the two baseball diamonds and soccer field if you are looking to add a quick workout.
