Handy Family Park is a great park to stop by while out running errands or visiting the Palladio in Folsom!

Handy Family Park is situated at the top of a hill and has wonderful views of much of the city of Folsom. It has two tiers with the restrooms, parking lot and grassy field down below and the playground and picnic tables and walkways up along the hilltop. Handy Family Park is located close to lots of shopping centers like the Palladio, Costco, Green Acres and much more. It would be an excellent spot to stop with the kids in the middle of running errands to have a snack and get some of the pent-up energy out. I know my long errand days always go much smoother when we stop to take a break!

The playground is great for multiple ages. There is a separate little kid play structure, and big kids play structure. Our favorite part about the playground is the double twisty slides perfect for racing a sibling or friend. The playground also features monkey bars, lots of walkways and towers, a flexible rubber climbing ladder and tunnel, and those little speakers that allow you to talk to a friend across the park. There is a sandpit, so bring sand toys to play with. 

Handy Family Park has restrooms available near the parking lot, and there is a covered pavilion next to the playground. There are benches and picnic tables scattered around the upper grassy area, and the park is a wonderful spot to soak up the sun and enjoy the view while your kids play!
