Located in Fuquay Varina, south of Raleigh, Honeycutt playground has a nice playground, shelter picnic area, big grassy field, and bathrooms nearby.

When you arrive at the park, continue to drive all the way to the back to find the playground. The playground area includes a play structure for toddlers and also for older children. There are three cool slides and two rock-climbing walls. Don’t miss the monkey bars, tunnels, bridges, and a large tic tac toe game! Don’t forget to let your child ride the motorcycle bounce toy. There are swings for everyone - infants, toddlers, and even adults. The ground is covered in rubber mulch, soft to walk on, and especially good if your child likes to go barefoot. There are also several benches to sit and watch your children play. The grassy field is perfect for a game of tag, soccer, or football. Your children will enjoy running around. There is also a set of bleachers to sit and relax or perhaps have a storytime.  A paved walking trail wraps around the back of the field. Another plus is that the playground structure is away from the parking lot, not close to car traffic.

On a sunny day, this area would be hot as there is very little shade near the playground itself. Bring sunscreen and water!  The pavilion with picnic tables would offer some shade for a nice break and picnic. The pavilion area is rather large, could even be used for group gatherings, like a birthday party. Public restrooms are available onsite.

This is a great playground area that could provide a wonderful time of play for you and your family.
