The star of this 13-acre recreation space, adjacent to Philadelphia Montogmery Christian Academy, is the picturesque pond filled with ducks and geese. We highly recommend wearing comfortable shoes (or possibly water shoes) to walk, splash, and skip around this wonderful space.
As a word around safety, a portion of the pond opens to a bus depot so while kids may enjoy seeing the bright yellow buses, there is no fence separating the park fron the parking lot so be extra aware of little ones in this area of the park/path. The park is lively with kids of all ages, people walking their dogs, and runners so you will want to have energy to supervise your little one(s) in a fairly busy space, even on a weekday. There is a paved trail that goes around the pond that would be good for stroller walks/runs; it loops around near the school with a basketball court, soccer fields, playground space, and Gazebo with variety of benches (some of varying functionality) to sit on and enjoy a snack or picnic at throughout.
During the summer, Springfield Township hosts various free concerts at the gazebo next to the pond. Cisco Park is also the location for the Annual Springfield Township Community Day.
