If You Enjoy Cornhole, Checkers, or Foosball, John L. Sullivan Park and Playground Is the Place for You!

John L. Sullivan park is named after the beloved and locally-famous car dealership owner. The park has a bit of a car theme with its bouncy car seat, which was the favorite of my four-year-old and his play date buddy. While the playground features a play structure that is relatively small, there are some other features to the park that make it worth the visit. The picnic tables under the covered pavilion each have a checkers/chess board built into the top. There are also corn hole games available (bring your own bean bags) as well as a foosball table (bring some ping pong balls). These additional features make this park a great option for a birthday party that will keep adults and kids happy and entertained.

The play structure is best suited for toddlers and young school-aged children. There are monkey bars, large tires to climb on, undulating bars to balance on, a slide, pull-up bars, a rock-climbing wall, and a woven rope climbing wall. There is also a basketball court, and it appears there may be more added to the park in the near future as there was an area still under construction when we visited. There is also a grass field that’s perfect for flying a kite; West Roseville seems to have more wind than other areas of Roseville for some reason!

There are no restrooms available at this park, so plan accordingly.
