Kings City Community Park is a great park complete with two playgrounds, sports courts, a paved trail, and grassy areas!
Kings City Community park is a gem nestled in a new development in King’s City. It’s one of those parks that unless you live in the area, you probably don’t know about it. The two playgrounds are great for younger kids! My 3 year old could climb, slide, and play on both play structures without any assistance from me. Many of the climbing areas are shorter and toddlers can safely navigate them! While my toddler had a great time, so did many other older kids! They were interested, playing, and enjoying the play structures just as much as my little! The playgrounds are right next to each other and there are benches around the playground so you can easily sit and watch your kids at both playgrounds. Next to the playgrounds are basketball courts and a porta potty (there are no flush toilets at this park). As you walk further into the park you see tennis courts to the right, a covered picnic shelter to the left, and a grassy area and trail straight ahead. The grassy area has soccer goals as well as a baseball field. The trail is paved and ADA accessible. It goes around the grassy area and there are benches to sit on along the path. The trail is not super long so many younger children were able to ride their bikes or scooters while their parents sat by the tennis courts and watched. The trail is wide and while there were tons of kids biking and scootering along the trail it did not feel crowded. On a sunny afternoon this park was packed but there was still plenty of parking.
